Dani - aka Psyche, Mirage and Moonstar - was co-leader of The New Mutants, a valkyrie, a member of X-Force, an undercover agent for S.H.I.E.L.D., then a teacher for Xavier's School. As a result of the events of M Day, she lost her powers and was subsequently fired from her position by Emma Frost.

Currently, Dani and the rest of the original New Mutants, including formerly deceased members like Illyana Rasputin (Magik) and Doug Ramsey (Cypher), are rejoining together for new adventures. As of the Utopia arc, Dani's regained her Valkyrie powers and has rejoined the revived New Mutants team.
